New York Fashion Weeks Spring 2018 shows are all about Millennial Neons, leopard prints galore, checked wool skirts, industrial- grade leather, and the sneakers you rejected your entire life. Read our report of the biggest trends hitting the catwalks for the season, ahead.

Seen at Tom Ford, Prabal Gurung, and  Oscar De La Renta, this leopard has been the focal point of many NYFW shows. This exotic print graces your silhouette while bringing out natural curves in the body frame. Leopard pieces are eye-catching, timeless,  and definitely a fashion favorite. Expect to see an abundance of leopard hitting the streets this season.

Checked Wool

100% wool and checkers, thick checked prints were NYFW’s b*#@! You’ll never look at your grandmother’s wardrobe the same way again, with brands taking heavy wool materials and mixing them with vintage styled checked prints, turning them into chic masterpieces; what once was an,“OH NO,” has turned into an “OH YES”!

Who needs boring black and white when you could be sporting bright neons? Fashion received a bold change in scenery this season with many designers such as Angel Chen, Kate Spade, Prabal Gurung, and Tory Burch using highlighter toned color schemes in their collections.

Chunky Sneakers

What once was a fashion no-no  has turned into a style phenomenon. These chunky sneakers were seen in numerous designer lines such as Prada, Savage x Fenty, and Kate Spade. For some odd reason, ugly shoes are in and will be crossing various sidewalks throughout the rest of the year.
